Stutzpunktgruppe Breskens






The harbour town breskens lays at the entrance of the river "de schelde", The most important entrance to the harbours of Antwerp. Stutzpunktgruppe Breskens consists 3 parts: the harbour(I), the surounding of Roodepolder (II) and former fortress Frederik Hendrik (III). The Stp.Gr. was protected by a tankditch from the landside and was protected by MG- and Gunbunkers. The biggest part of the bunkers is demolished, also a short time ago (summer 2004) a few very rare bunkers are demolished (type 607 en 633) Today a few bunker remain under which two very rare ones, a type 112neu with 6 schartenturm and a type 642 (for the moment I don't have pictures of the last mentioned)
