Maas - Ruhrstellung This location is a part of the former Maas-Ruhrstellung, a defenceline created by the Germans in 1944 on the border of Germany and the Netherlands. The line was created to avoid that the allies can capture Germany.The line was connected to the Westwall and the Maasstelung. This part is the middle part of the Maas-Ruhrstellung and consist of trenches and MG-post with some tobruks. The location is very nice to visit as almost all trenches are still visible.
